The problem

Nobody Taught Us This Stuff.

You can finish school, start working full time and still have no idea how credit actually works. Then we are expected to figure it out while making the biggest financial decisions of our lives.

Inside the course

Nine Areas. One Financial Education.

Canadian Finance Pro is the most structured online personal finance course made for Canada. Not one investing course stretched into 40 videos. The major financial areas Canadians deal with, in order, from the basics up.

01

Budgeting

See where your money goes and build a system you can actually stick to.

02

Credit

How Canadian credit works, what moves your score and how to build it over time.

03

Debt

Types of debt, how interest works and the repayment order that costs you least.

04

Personal finance

Income, savings, emergency funds, big purchases and retirement, all connected.

05

Investing

Risk, diversification and timelines. How to think long term instead of chasing trends.

06

Stocks

07

Canadian taxes

Brackets, credits, registered accounts and the numbers that matter to you. Kept current.

08

Cryptocurrency

How it works, the risks, and what Canadians need to know before putting money in.

09

Real estate

Mortgages, down payments, affordability and rates. The financial side of buying a home.

The difference

The Rules Here Are Different.

Most personal finance content online is American. Eventually you need information that matches the country you live in.

Most of the internet

  • 401(k)s
  • Roth IRAs
  • American tax rules
  • American mortgages
  • American credit systems

Canadian Finance Pro

  • TFSAs and RRSPs
  • Canadian investment accounts
  • Canadian taxes and CRA filing
  • Canadian mortgages
  • Canadian credit and examples

Who is teaching this

Hi, I am Bassem.

I am a CPA, YouTuber, real estate agent and investor. I have been helping Canadians with personal finance for more than 10 years, working with clients since 2011.

In 2020 I started a YouTube channel about investing. As it grew, I kept getting the same questions. How does credit work. How do taxes work. What is a TFSA. People did not need another stock video. They needed the foundation first.

So I built the course I wished existed. Organized from the ground up, slowed down, no assumed knowledge.

Bassem taught me when and how to buy a house in Toronto. I ended up getting an amazing mortgage rate and a great deal on the house.

FAQ

Before You Join.

I am a complete beginner.

Perfect. That is exactly why the course starts from the basics. No background in accounting, investing or finance needed.

I already watch your YouTube channel.

The videos cover one topic or one company at a time. The course is a structured education where everything builds on the last lesson, and it covers topics the channel does not regularly get to.

Can I not learn this for free online?

Probably. You could also learn accounting or how to rebuild a transmission for free online. The problem is not whether the information exists. It is knowing what matters, what order to learn it in and whether the person teaching it actually knows the subject.

Is this only an investing course?

No. It also covers budgeting, credit, debt, personal finance, stocks, financial statements, Canadian taxes, cryptocurrency and real estate.

How long do I have access?

Lifetime, including everything added later.

Is this financial advice?

No. The course is educational. Your individual situation may require advice from an appropriate financial, tax, legal or investment professional.
